Aorta Scan provides low cost ultrasound screening for aortic aneurysms. Ruptured aortic aneurysms cause 7000 deaths each year in the UK, mainly in men over age 65. Screening ultrasound can detect aneurysms at an early stage so that rupture can be prevented. The service is not yet available on the NHS. We charge £50 for a scan and report. No doctor's referral required. We are located in the West Midlands/Welsh borders but welcome patients from throughout the UK.
